John Schoening Obituary

John Schoening

My dear husband, John was the most loving, good hearted man. He was in his glory when he could help someone out. He has been taken from me and the people he loved way too soon.

He was my best friend and soulmate and I'm devastated that he is no longer with me. I still cannot believe he is gone. I look around our home and expect to see him walking in from the garage or the grocery store. He loved shopping and bringing me home surprises. Whenever he was away working, he always checked in on me with phone calls, to make sure that I was doing well and so that I would not worry about him.

The love and bond the we shared was unique and special. He was there for me through good times and bad and could always put a smile on my face. I will be forever grateful for how much joy and love he brought into my life. We were together over 6 years and married a little over a year. Our Honeymoon Trip across the United States was our best adventure!

John was always so happy to share his Stage Hand stories about his friends that he worked with at Local 16. He kept in contact with his lifetime friends he knew from San Mateo, Foster City, San Francisco and made new friends here in Lake County CA.

He idolized his daughter and wished he had been able to meet his two grandsons. I heard many funny stories about his sister, Kathy and his brother, Paul and even more stories about his dear mother, Mary, and how she was so loving and kind, just like John was. No one will ever replace my John and I hold those treasured memories we shared deep in my heart. He will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace my darling husband. X0
