Bradley E. Gilpin 1954-2026

Bradley Eugene Gilpin, lovingly known as Brad, passed away at his home on May 3, 2026. He was born on August 5, 1954, in Burbank, CA to Eugene Gilpin (1920–2004) and Dolores Verdie Evans (1914–2007).

Brad was preceded in death by his beloved siblings, Laverne Robinson, Beverly Balke and Dennis Nagel. He attended Claremont High School and remained proud of the friendships and memories he made there throughout his life.

Brad devoted his life to the people he loved most. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Cindy Gilpin, who stood by his side through life’s joys and challenges. He was a devoted and caring stepfather to Sadie Egan and a proud grandfather to Cody Nau and Shelby Nau, each of whom brought him immeasurable happiness.

Family meant everything to Brad. He cherished time spent with his loved ones and especially adored his niece, Lisa Kingsley. He also held close bonds with his cousins, Greg and Barbara Evans, Jimmy Drake, and Steven Balke. His warmth, humor, and steadfast love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

Brad will be remembered as a kind-hearted man whose greatest joy came from finding road side treasures. His presence, laughter, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever treasured by his family and friends.
