William “Bill” Mucci Jr. passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026 with his family by his side.

Bill was born on November 28, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. He often told stories of Dunham Park in Chicago where he enjoyed ice skating and playing hockey.

He later worked as a mechanic for many years enjoying building motors, especially for local race cars, the sport he enjoyed so much.

He raised three children in Lake County, CA. where he shared his love for boating on the lake and attending the local races. Bill adored his children, teaching them family traditions and showing them unconditional love.

Bill was known for his great sense of humor. He had nicknames for every person in his life. He loved to call people on the phone to chat or just catch up on life.

Bill is survived by his children Amy Mucci, Ashley Mucci (Daniel Woolley) and Trystan Mucci (Sierra Furia), the one and only beautiful grand daughter June Mucci. Along with his sister Michele Murphy (Bill Murphy), brother Craig Mucci and nephew Tyler Mucci.

Bill would not want to be mourned but celebrated. Everybody that knew Bill knows his love for a good “get together” a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
