Jesus Frias Hopper 1996-2026

Jesus “Chuche” Frias-Hopper was born to Carmelita Frias-Hopper and Cornelio Frias on April 16, 1996 in Santa Rosa, CA. Jesus has unexpectedly passed away on June 9, 2026 in a tragic car accident in Covelo, CA.

Jesus is survived by his parents, Carmelita and Cornelio; his children, Roselia and Nate; his grandfather, Benjamin; Grandparents on his father's side, Angelita and Silvestre; his brothers, August, Chester, and Kyle Mota; his two sisters from his father's side; his sister-in-law, Amy Mota; his cousins who were like second siblings, LaRaina, Meleaine, Amanda, Alysia, and little brother, Frank James Jr.

Chuche had a lot of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and homies. Jesus preceded in death by his sister Cecilia Mota; and Grandmother, Patricia Want (Hopper).

Chuche was a one of kind soul, who can never be replaced. Chuche was a

genuine and comical person who had everyone laughing and smiling. He was a

loving father who loved being with his children. Chuche always found enjoyment in being surrounded by family and friends. He was always down to party.

He enjoyed fishing, he also enjoyed taking trips to Bodega Bay, and he loved to work on his dirt bikes. He also enjoyed rebuilding and repairing things. He loved to draw and do tattoos.

Chuche will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

All are welcome to come to pay your respect to him and his family. Services will be held at Big Valley Community Center at 1030 Osprey Ct. Lakeport CA. We will be doing a traditional viewing for four days starting Thursday June 18,2026 at 2:30 PM through Sunday, June 21, 2026 at 11:30 AM. Due to traditional view we respectfully ask no drugs or alcohol during this time of mourning.
