​Teresa Annette Owens, 67, of Nice, California, passed away peacefully at Lakeport Hospital on July 16, 2026, at 1:30 AM, following a brave battle with bladder cancer. Born in Phoenix, Arizona on January 30, 1959, Teresa fought her illness like a true warrior for a long time, showing immense courage and never giving up until it was finally time to rest.

​Teresa was the beloved daughter of Grace Ann Baker and Carroll Brown. She was a deeply devoted and loving mother to her three children; Shawnta Carpenter, Jason Williams, and Christopher Brown.

​She was a cherished grandmother who brought so much joy to her grandchildren; Joshua Williams, Kyrin Brown, Asher Brown, Kiara Thompson, Harley Thompson, Kayden Williams, and Gunner Williams.

​Teresa is survived by her 4 sisters, and 1 brother. Pamela Williams, Rhonda Montgomery, Gail Kaplan, Sue Adkins, as well as her brother Doug Brown.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt, special thank you to all of her doctors and caregivers at Lakeport Hospital, with extra gratitude to Dr. Purcell for her unwavering dedication and compassionate care throughout Teresa's journey.

​Teresa was truly the best mother anyone could ever ask for. She was one of a kind. She will forever be missed, always remembered, and above all, deeply loved.
