Edward Franklin Gilmore

May 10, 1953 – August 8, 2026

Ed passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 73 years old.

He was a loving husband to Lonnie; father to Heidi Gilmore and Crystal Kenyon (Gilmore); son-in-law, Jeremy Kenyon; and proud grandfather to Polly, CJ, and Cami.

He is also survived by his brother, Dave Gilmore; and his sister-in-law,; Doreen and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine;, and brothers Anthony and Steve.

He was a United States Air Force veteran. Prior to his retirement, he worked at Hewlett-Packard and the County of Mendocino, and he also volunteered with the Lucerne Fire Department, giving his time to help others and his community.

He was funny, caring, and truly one of a kind. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by the family, friends and those who were lucky enough to know him.
