Please share a memory of Kayden to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kayden Daniel Collins King Kayden Daniel Collins King, or as most people knew him, Kayden King, or KK, was born on May 27th, 1995 in Denton, Texas to Dawnielle King and David Collins. Soon after that, he and his mom moved to Jago Bay, Lake County, California, to be closer to family. ( Michele and Andres Molina (mom and stepdad), Grandma Ruby (Ruby C Smith), Trevor King (uncle), Gabe Molina (uncle), and Andrea Molina (aunt). In the following years, Kayden and his mom rotated between Lake County and Vista, California, where Dawnielle spent time caring for her dad, (Stephen M King) who passed away in 2011. They returned to Kelseyville where Kayden finished middle School and graduated from Kelseyville High School in 2013. Some of his closest friends in school were Nik Vargas, Jonathan Smith, and Amanda Nakken. Kayden loved his guitar, his dog Chief, his mom, “Ita and Ito”, his Papa Stephen, the outdoors, working at Steele Winery on the forklift, his Uncle Trevor, his cousin/sister, Breanna, Grandma Ruby, and many more people who shared both the good and bad times with him throughout his life. Some of his happiest times came while he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lakeport. Kayden’s life ended sooner than we expected or hoped. His absence has left deep holes in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be missed so much, but we can be sure he is now in a much better place with his Papa Stephen, Chief, Finnegan, Grandma Ruby, Grandpa Mack, and Grandpa Jack. We love you, Kayden, to the moon and back. A celebration of life will be held on May 27th, 2024. For more details, please contact family members at 707-332-0265.
