Arline Edna Koschel
Arline Edna Koschel was born, June 9, 1926 in St. Louis Missouri. On December 19, 2020 she met her savior at the age of 94 embracing a Life of Eternal Peace and Joy.
Her husband, of 63 years, Robert Edgar Koschel preceded her in March 2008. They moved to Nice, CA in 1985 where Arline lived the remainder 35 years of her life surrounded by her many friends. She is survived by three daughters, Pamela Butler, Deborah Myers and Rebecca Jones, 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Arline moved to Southern California in 1954. For a short period of time, she worked at France Drive Inn as a car hop taking orders and serving food on roller skates. In addition, she applied for a job working in aerospace and was surprised that she was hired without a high school diploma. She did not complete high school due to illness. She had always been a skilled sewer and that skill got her the job. She was honored to have worked on the Space Shuttles.
Arline was loved and liked by many. She was known for her laughter, jokes and having a good time. During her years in Lake County, she enjoyed many friends through her involvement in Lake County Bowlers, The What Ever Red Hat Club, Bingo at Lakeport Senior Center, Pat’s Dancing Feet and The Stitch and Bitch Gang. In addition, she is survived by her best friend who loves her dearly, Casey Moneymaker.
Casey Moneymaker and Pamela Butler will be making arrangements for a Celebration of Life in Spring 2021.
