My father was the best father in the world.. I'm not saying that as a loving son, but because he really was. He loved his children so much and he was always there for us as we grew. There was nothing he would not do for us, from taking us to Dodger games, the zoo, to Disneyland and Knotts. He took me to museums and historic sites I was interested in. And even obtained tickets for us kids to ride the Goodyear blimp! I'll never forget the trip to the gold country so I could see the sites. Places like the Winchester house and once, just him and I went to the top deck of Los Angeles city hall so I could take pictures with a new camera he bought me. So many times he gave his time because of the love he had for us. And of course just being a hard working dad who gave a roof to live under, and food on the table and a home to keep us safe and warm. So many ways and times, with his kindness, he was the best father in the world. He is missed, and loved, and will never be forgotten by this grateful son. I know I'll never meet anyone as great as my father again. Bye Dad.

It’s wonderful to only know of a daddy being nothing but loving and kind

People who do know of his passing all say what a sweetie he is

I say yea, I liked him too

I got the love of the outdoors from him, the sporty side of me too

He took us camping and fishing, I even know how to gut a fish because he taught me

I remember being at our local parks and dad was the baseball coach for my brothers teams

Even if we would go astray as kids or young adults our discipline came from a place of caring and only wanting better for us

Never ever gave up on us never

He gave me away at my wedding, his eyes were watery, So sweet ,Right ,

As time goes on and we grow older and spend more time apart

He always had time to chat on the phone and listen to me

Even if I didn’t have much of anything of interest to talk about

He really was a great dad

I’ll miss him dearly

The good Lord will let me be with him again I know
