Condolences
While reading the Lake County News this morning, I saw the notice for Maynard. I am so sorry for your loss. Many years ago I served on a jury with Maynard. The trial lasted 3 months, so we all had a lot of time to get to know one another. I remember that Maynard said one of the best things he ever did was to ride around the US on a motorcycle with his daughter. Maynard talked about what a person should expect from a car dealership, and I wish every business owner had his ethics! Please know that Maynard was highly regarded in our family, and we hope your wonderful memories will give you comfort.

My deepest condolences and prayers to the wife and daughter of Maynard., Leomia & Diana . Rest assured the Lord is with you and will carry you through this period in your lives. Thanks to Maynard for the sacrifice he made for our country through his service in the Army and the sacrifice of the family during his service..
I still remember the day Maynard came driving down that country dirt road looking for Leomia. He stopped at our house and as one of my brothers gave him direction to Leomia's house he drew a map in the dirt on the ground. ( There was no Mapquest or GPS).
Little did he know, he was speaking with he r1st cousins.
one of my brothers credit Maynard for his decision to make a career in the United states Army retiring as a t Major.
RIP Maynard your have served your country and the Lord well.
Leomia and Diana, there are no words that I can say to ease your pain. But just know that I am only a phone call away and will llift you up in my prayers. May the Lord keep you and give you peace.
Love you,
Nora Hamilton-Graham
Dear Dad,
You were the very best father, friend, and confidant. I will miss you more than words can ever express. You will always be my hero because taught me to strive for excellence in all that I do. During your career, you fought for freedom on multiple continents around the globe. I recall once telling you that "I was honored to know you and even more honored to have you as my father". You shall always live in my heart and soul. I love you Dad. Fly High Eagles Wings!!!
PS. Your cat and dog asked me to tell you that they love you too!!!
Eternal Love
Diana
