Obituary of Charles Edward Durfee

Charles Edward Durfee Charles Edward Durfee, Chuck, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Chuck was a native of Salinas, California and a 1963 graduate of North Salinas High School. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After proudly serving in the USMC he went on to a lengthy career in law enforcement spanning over 35 years, lastly working for Coyote Valley Casino in Redwood Valley. He was a classic car enthusiast who also enjoyed his yearly fishing trips. Chuck is survived by his son, Charles and wife, Holly Durfee; daughter, Michelle Shannon; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, David and Vivian Durfee and brother, David "Butch" Durfee. Memorial Graveside Service will be held at Harley Cemetery, Veterans Circle, on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:00 AM. A potluck reception will follow at The American Legion in Kelseyville.
