Obituary of Nora Star-Timme

Nora Star-Timme of Kelseyville, passed on to her eternal rest on December 20, 2021. She is predeceased by her husband, Donald Timme, and is survived by her son, Greg and his wife Diana of Ben Lomond, CA. Nora was active all of her life in animal welfare work, both as a writer of many books, articles and stories, and also in hands-on rescue. Her care and concern for the welfare of animals knew no limits. In the latter half of her life, her principal passion was rescuing greyhounds from certain death at the racetrack by finding them homes, volunteering, and fundraising. Nora requested that there be no services of any kind but hoped people would do random acts of kindness to animals whenever they could and also donate to Animal Care and Control, CLAWS or the SPCA in her name.
