Barbara Sowash Obituary
Barbara Sowash left this life on August 1, 2023, due to heart and other health issues.
She was predeceased by her son, Stanley Flett, who passed in July of 2022. She is survived by her siblings, Steven Sowash, Theresa Hart, Rose Sowash, Richard Sowash, and Stella Winckler; her “significant other”, Matthew Ray and many others.
Barbara was very outgoing, treating even strangers as friends. Tragically, when her son died, it took a lot of the light out of her. She spent most of her life in Rohnert Park. About 15 years ago, she moved to Lake County, where she continued work as a well-loved caregiver. She was one of a kind and will be missed by many.
