Obituary of Robert Francis Derenthal

Robert Francis Derenthal We are sad to announce the death of Robert Francis Derenthal at the age of 88. Bob was the loving husband of Catherine Ryan — married to her for 49 years, including 23 years of happy retirement in Lakeport. Bob’s career mirrored his intelligence and curiosity. He was a radio DJ, experimental psychologist and hospital executive. At home, he maintained his own 8-thousand book library. Bob was predeceased by his son, Daniel and survived by son, Thomas; daughter, Susan Lockhart; his former wife, Andree Carlson; and four grandchildren. A service will be conducted later in Collegeville, Minnesota.
