Obituary of Jayden Cose
Please share a memory of Jayden to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jayden Cose
“Though our hearts are broken, we find solace in knowing that Jayden Cose is now cradled in God’s loving arms. ‘Let the little children come to me, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’ – Matthew 19:14”
It is with a profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jayden Cose a beloved 17-year-old young man whose life, though brief, was filled with so much love, joy, and unforgettable moments. Jayden had a passion for fishing, often finding peace and solitude by the water's edge. He loved adventure and quads and he valued the deep connections he had with his family and friends. Jayden’s loyalty, honesty and his ability to affect those around him positively was so sincere, he was always standing up for the underdog knowing everyone deserves someone in their corner.
Jayden had a smile and a personality that could light up any room. His infectious laughter and genuine warmth left an everlasting footprint on the hearts of everyone he met. He had a unique ability to make others feel special and loved, creating a legacy of love, kindness and joy.
Jayden is survived by his loving family, including his father, Randy Cose (Nicole Andre); mother, Shannon Johns; his beloved sisters, Brooklyn Holt, Jaymie Cose, Sara Cose; and his grandfathers, Kenny Cose (Joyce Cose) and Doug Johns. Jayden grew up surrounded by the warmth and love of his family and friends, especially the guiding hands of his grandmothers, Susan Burch (Robert Burch) and (Nana) Donna Ornellas and his aunt, Carolynn Antonini Capps. These three strong women provided a foundation of love and support that will be remembered always. He is also survived by his God parents, Roseanne Noyce (Ray Noyce) and Stevie Coccellato and many other dear family members and friends, too many to list, who will cherish his memory forever.
Jayden Cose is also survived by his girlfriend Kayla Rodriquez and their dog, Blue and his dear friends who were like family to him. Their presence in his life brought him immense joy and comfort.
Though Jayden has left us far too soon, his spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Go fly high with Papa Pete and Papa Scott.
“We lost Jayden Cose far too soon due to a single blue pill. Let this be a sobering reminder that one pill can take a life. Please be vigilant and spread awareness.”
Memorial Mass for Jayden Cose will take place at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church (801 N Main St, Lakeport, CA) on Saturday, September 7th, at 10:00 AM, followed by a gathering at the Lakeport Yacht Club (15 Fifth St. Lakeport, CA).
