Victor F. Bologna Victor F. Bologna, age 89, of Lakeport passed away peacefully at his home on December 16, 2024 with family by his side. Victor was born on October 28, 1935, in North Beach, San Francisco to parents, Vito and Jennie (Russo) Bologna. He left behind his daughter, Vicky (Bologna) Magill, Lakeport; grandsons, Jesse Magill, Bethel Springs, TN and Tony Torrigino, Lucerne; son-in-law, Steve Torrigino, Lucerne; sister-in-law, Carol (Bixler) Bologna, Novato; nephew, Joe Bologna Jr., Hidden Valley Lake; nieces, DeAnn Bologna, Vallejo and Michelle Bologna, MI; lots of cousins, great nieces and nephews, good friend and fellow pilot, Gordon Dupree (Susie), San Rafael; and his devoted dog Rosie. He is predeceased by his wife, Judy Bologna (April 6, 2021); daughter, Wendy (Bologna) Torrigino, Lucerne; brother, Joseph Bologna, Novato; son-in-Law, Blyine Magill, Poplar Bluff, MO. Victor attended Galileo High School then joined the National Guard, 271st Missile Battalion from 1954-1961. He married his wife, Judy and they moved to San Anselmo, in 1968 where they raised their daughters. They had a summer home in Lake County that the whole family enjoyed, lots of days on the water boating, water skiing, fishing and barbecues and eventually retired there. Victor had owned a few service stations and a restaurant in San Francisco in his early days. He was a mechanic all his life. He always had hot rod cars, fast boats and motorcycles but his biggest passion was building and flying Ultralight Planes. The man loved to fly. Vic always put his family first, he was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and always eager to help his friends. He was the man you could always count on. He had a great sense of humor and would give you a hard time, if he wasn’t, well that just meant he didn’t like you. You always knew where you stood with him. Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary in Lakeport on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with Funeral Service at 11:00 and Interment to follow at Upper Lake Cemetery.
